Promote the Legacy of Leadership by Going Gold!

Here at Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey, we’ve officially kicked off the “Year of the Gold!” This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Gold Award, the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn. Since 1916, Gold Award recipients have been changing our world for the better – as bold leaders, innovators, and visionaries. Hear from our Girl Award Program Specialist, Gina Dandrow, on how to "Go Gold" today!

As we reflect on a century of extraordinary service, we are excited about what the future holds – eager to support girls as they leave lasting and meaningful impressions on our world.

In 2016, we encourage you to “Go Gold” today and every day. How can YOU help to promote the legacy of leadership that is the hallmark of the Girl Scout experience? How can YOU “Go Gold?”

  • Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors: join a long legacy of extraordinary Gold Award recipients. Connect your passions with the needs of your community. Change your world!
  • Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes: gain lifelong leadership skills and serve your community with stellar Bronze and Silver Award projects!
  • Former Gold Award recipients: we'd love to hear about your experience as a Gold Awardee! Share your stories with us!
  • Leaders, parents, and Girl Scout advocates, continue supporting girls in their lifelong commitment to service. Strive to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who will change the face of our future!

Join us as we “Go Gold” in 2016 and look forward to another 100 years of girls changing our world one project at a time!
