What is a Girl Scout Heart of New Jersey Interest Event? We're glad you asked! It is a gathering in your local community with girls and the adults in their lives (parents. grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc.). The shared goal is to increase awareness, knowledge and participation for girls and adults in Girl Scouts. The girls are engaged in a Girl Scout experience like learning a song or participating in a traditional craft with current Girl Scout members. Adults get the chance to spend time with adult Girl Scout volunteers and/or staff, to learn about the opportunities Girl Scouts provides, ways in which their girls can participate as members, and various volunteer opportunities for adults.
