Working for Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey is about much more than a job.  It’s about passion and commitment to help girls—all girls—grow into the best version of themselves. It’s about developing leadership programs for girls, working side-by-side with volunteers to bring the Girl Scout mission to life and forming lasting partnerships in the community.

We’re looking for three things.  

Would we want to be in a bunker with you? We’re going to spend a lot of time together. So we really want to like you. And we want you to like us. Work is so much more enjoyable when we are all working towards the same mission and have similar goals.

Can you hit a home run in 90 days? We move fast. Does this freak you out? If not, then we may be the right fit. Our teams are poised and ready to make real differences in the lives of the girls and volunteers we serve, and we’re looking for the kind of people who can hit the ground running and have a positive influence.

Are you going to be doing something amazing in four to six years? We want the best in class people. Maybe you’ll still be with us in four years (we hope so!), or maybe you’ll be off running for office or starting your own organization. That’s cool. We just want people who are capable of doing amazing things while they’re with us.

• Competitive salary. We know that money isn’t what drives you if you’re in the nonprofit world, but you do need to keep the lights on. We get that.
