30 Days of Good Deeds: Troop #20586 Serves Up Smiles & Meals

As an Ambassador, Girl Scouts understand the impact they have on their communities and the people around them. Troop #20586 spent one of their Saturdays giving back. Keep reading to find out more about their service project!

On Saturday November 21, 2015, the Ambassador Girl Scouts Troop decided to serve food to senior citizens as part of Elmwood Presbyterian Church's annual Serving Seniors event.

Not only did the girls from Service Unit 25 serve up meals, but they did so with a smile, to let the senior citizens know that they care. This annual event allows the girls to socialize and interact with the elderly and assist them with getting a healthy meal, bringing a smile to an elderly person, and lending a helping hand when needed.

30 Days of Good Deeds ends March 11th! Is your Troop doing something amazing? Do you know a Girl Scout who is making a change in her community? Fill out this easy form to submit your Good Deed!
