30 Days of Good Deeds: Troop #40688 Organized a Food Drive
Troop #40688 didn't perform just one good deed—they decided to do something extra! During the holiday season, the girls saw a need both with a local food pantry and for military troop serving overseas. To learn more about what Troop #40688 did, keep reading!
Before Thanksgiving, the Girl Scout Troop organized a food drive for the Cranford Family Care Association. They were able to collect 18 bags of food and donated it to Cranford Family cares just in time for the holidays.
In December, the girls wanted troops serving overseas to know that they were being thought about and loved, so they decided to make them something special. The Daisies made holiday wreaths with messages of support and thanks for our military overseas. Their leaders expressed great joy and pride for their Troop's enthusiasm to help others in need and support those who support us!
We are still collecting stories for our 30 Days of Good Deeds! Is your Troop doing something amazing? Do you know a Girl Scout who is making a change in her community? Fill out this easy form to submit your Good Deed!
